ZANZA

The soul of the Bionis, and one of two gods in this world.Long ago, he reigned over all organic life, and lived in harmony with his subjects and those of his opposite. But then one day, he was forgotten. Forgotten by all. This brought him great distress... and anger. And then, one day, he decided he would make himself known to all.For ages, his plans were flawless. Everything was all in accordance with the passage of fate. He saw all, controlled all. That is, until one day, something appeared beyond the margins of fate. Something he himself had planned for, something he had worked towards for ages. And then, just like that, the god met his end.Or at least, that's what everyone thought.Now, Zanza has returned, and he refuses to let such a grievous mistake be made again. He will not falter. He will live.

‣ His current state of being is a bit of a complex matter. He is able to maintain his form without a vessel, however in exchange, he is severely lacking in power, and cannot have visions, nor can he summon his Monado. The most he can do is spit foul words at people and feed off what little ether he can find.‣ While he does retain some memories of his past life, many things are... fuzzy. He lacks certain aspects of certain events, yet he is unaware that those pieces are missing. At least, until they are pointed out. In truth, he is entirely unaware of the fact that he is only a partial half of a whole-- and even then, he would have no desire to reunite with that half unless it promised a more stable form to live in.‣ Despite the fact that he continues to act particularly nasty towards Shulk, he actually fears him. After being bested by his own vessel, with another Monado no less, he does not wish to provoke him into killing him a second time. It's already a miracle he's back now, and considering what little power he has remaining, he does not wish to give the Homs another reason to strike him down.‣ He knows he can no longer do anything with Shulk as a vessel, but he has taken an interest in the opportunities other worlds have presented him. Smash in particular offers something rather enticing, but he knows full well he cannot simply act upon a whim and risk ending his life prematurely. (Again.)‣ Even Zanza has no idea what the Fog King could have been. He can easily speculate that it's something that tore through time and space, but from where, how, and why, he has no idea. This frustrates him endlessly.

He is... you? But at the same time, very much not. His existence confuses you a bit, but then again, somehow it doesn't. What is certain is that you find yourself disagreeing with his judgement on frequent occasions. You think he spends too much effort on the likes of mortals, and sometimes his actions embarrass you. But, at the very least, he is bearable to be around.

What a mess. All of that time and effort put into this plan, and all of it went down the drain because of one single boy. One you thought you had completely under your thumb. You even died because of him. How pathetic.You hate him. You want him dead. You want his friends dead. You want to strip everything he loves away from him, forcing him to watch it all, until he himself meets a bitter demise. And yet... you're terrified of him. You can't lift a single finger against him, for fear that he'll simply strike you down once more. This time, you got lucky. By some miracle, you returned to live again another day. But next time, you may not be so lucky. He may swing that blade down and you'll simply cease to be.No... you can't let that happen. You'll simply have to avoid angering him. Or at least, staying out of his sight. After all, you do not wish to remain in this useless state for all of eternity...

As much as people like shipping Zanza and Meyneth together in some kind of happy ending, I don't realistically see that happening, nor can I imagine him developing any romantic feelings for anyone at all. He sees everyone around him as inferior, and at most is either intrigued in them or wishes to use them as a pawn. If you're potentially interested in exploring this type of unhealthy relationship, I am open to it, but know that it will most certainly be one-sided and not very good for anyone. So, regular shipping is basically entirely off the table. Sorry![ FIGHT RPS ]
As it stands now, Zanza is too weak to fight on his own, but if given an opportunity to regain some of that power (such as in an SL or in an RP from before his death) then I will gladly do so. What his skillset would be depends entirely on the RP, though it is most likely that I'd be referencing Xenoblade 1's main story, both in script and in gameplay-- especially his Arts.[ ART POSTS ]
